Wondering if anyone else is tired of women going nuts and blaming it on post par tum phsycoisis?

This new nut job Otty Sanchez...she did unspeakable things to her infant son and now they are all screaming post par tum...if this is such a horrific thing to have then why are they not checking on women after they have the baby and making them do some sort of treatment or monitoring deal???? LIke when the baby comes in for a check up how about mommy too? and whats with families not recognizing that there are signs cause when it comes down to it there are always signs...are we so caught up with ourselves we cant for one minute check up on someone else ....I mean you read about the family and friends after something like this happening and they all say well she seems depressed and a little off....
