Ear Piercing - Convince My Parents?

Ok im a boy and 12 years old and really want my left ear pierced. i havent told my parents about this because if i do theyll think i am a dero, bogan, trashy, etc. what can i do to convince them to let me get it. my parents are both about 45. i go to a school which does not let boys have ear pierce? and ideas??? please help.
