Why do Labour supporters agree with Gordon Brown's bigot comment(UK)?

The 'cannon fodder' that are the core Labour voters never read or study anything they just go on what their told by their leaders the same as Conservatives,Liberals and the rest. Thinking for yourself is not an option for these people. Notice how quickly the Labour apparatchiks have started trying to turn Mrs.Duffy into some kind of racist ? Whatever you do don't question us is their rule, sounds like the Soviet Union under Stalin.
