Why are women completely heartless?

I'm just wondering why? I was with a woman for 5 years. She told me that no matter what that we would be together forever. We were married a little over 2 years ago. While we were married she wanted me to adopt her son which at the time was 14. I loved him very much and wanted to adopt him but never did because the lawyer told me they would not do it until after we were married for at least one year. Her oldest son started breeding and had 2 children that he wasn't taking care of so we took the granddaughter in our house. I raised that child like she was my own. I love her to this day with all my heart. And the son too. She said I was there dad and I treated them like I was. Well now she has divorced me. I loved them all so much that I just gave her everything and took all the bills to make it easy on them. Now I get to have no contact with the children at all. Is that not wrong at all? I know the son wants to see me and the daughter is to young to talk so, but everytime I saw her in the past she loved me like always. So what is with women?
