What Republican could have won the 2008 Presidential Election?

It was a complete lost cause for them and they knew it. Bush ran this country so far into the ground and his policies will have a horrible effect on us for decades to come. His family doesn't care about Americans, but do care about money, power and deceit so..Not a damned thing.
