Since "The righteous shall live by faith", is this the main thing that hinders the non-believers?

Non-believers who are dead (in their spirits) in trespes and sins have to be made alive by God (Ephesians 2:1) before they can have faith to be saved. In hearing of the Word the Holy Spirit will convict a non-believer of his sin (John 16:9) and will impart faith to him (Romans 10:17) to confess Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. It is only by the Spirit of God can one confess Jesus Christ as Lord (1 Corinthians 12:3). So God must give a non-believer life in the Spirit and faith before he can be saved through the hearing of His word. God bless you.
