My 5 week old baby screaming...?

My 5 week old baby doesn't cry much but screams. She goes from smiling to screaming very quickly. Am I misreading her hunger cues? Or could she be screaming from being tired? I don't think she is in pain because she only screams for several minutes and I'm able to soothe her with rocking or pacifier. Why should she scream?
