7 months vomits after eating mashed/lumpy solids.?

My daughter is currently 7 months and I started her on solids at 6 months. The nurse advised that I go straight to mashed food which I did. She took it well the first few days but then started to projectile vomit after every meal so I started to pureed her foods which she took very well. Now she's eating solids well so I decided to try giving her mashed/lumpy foods again today and she projectile vomit again. She refused to continue eating and started screaming bloody murder. She doesn't have any teeth yet. Should I continue giving her pureed food? I read all these stuff about delay in speech development if I continue to give her pureed foods. Any advice?
